The Dinner Ladies is a home food delivery service, creating delicious homestyle frozen meals and delivering them straight to your door. We cook for everyone filling your freezer with flavour and making mealtimes easier!
We’re a small (but mighty) team of food lovers and friendly problem solvers and right now we’re looking for a new Customer Service team member to join us part time from Wednesday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the first point of contact for our customers your job is to make their day a little better whether that’s answering a quick question fixing a delivery issue or simply having a friendly chat
Your day to day will include:
Responding to customer queries via phone email and live chat with empathy and efficiency
Helping customers navigate our website menu and delivery process
Logging call notes and flagging any follow ups
Resolving customer concerns or complaints in a warm constructive way
Liaising with the packing and courier teams to troubleshoot delivery issues
Supporting customers with dietary info order details or meal recommendations
Collaborating with the Customer Service Supervisor and team to improve processes
Keeping things calm and organised during busy periods
What Will Help You Succeed
A friendly positive approach and a desire to help others
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Confidence using computers and learning new systems experience with Shopify Gorgias Klaviyo or AirCall is a plus but not essential
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Empathy problem solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Motivation to work independently with support from your team when needed
Previous customer service experience is helpful but we’re also open to junior applicants with the right attitude we love seeing people grow
Role Details
Part time permanent role
Shifts run Wednesday to Friday
Includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch break
Based in our Matraville office with the option to work from home potentially once fully trained
